Information for 8th Grade Parents about National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Testing

The eighth grade students of L. E. Gable Middle have been chosen to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress, or NAEP.  Known as The Nation’s Report Card, NAEP is the largest nationally representative and continuing assessment of what students in the United States know and can do.  Our 8th grade students will represent thousands of others across the country through their participation on February 19, 2019.  Attached is the Parent Notification Letter which provides helpful information about our students’ participation.  Students do not have to study for NAEP; nevertheless, please assist us in encouraging them to do their best.  As always, thank you for your continued support!
