This year all of our 8th grade students participated in a grade level project-based learning activity. Students researched, collected data, and found results to support the building of Gable’s first Outdoor Learning Space. Of these, six students were chosen to take the data, information, and evidence and formulate our final design and presentation for the Outdoor Learning Space. These students are Connor Wilkins, Abby Ellason, Emily Rivera-Martinez, Riley Beville, Alysaa Gilbert, and Dakota Biggerstaff. Over the last 5 months, they have dedicated hours of preparation oftentimes working during their lunch and SSR periods. They presented the final design for the Outdoor Learning Space to the faculty and administration at Gable. After receiving Mr. Talley's approval, the student team presented the project to Dr. Owings and received his approval to have the Outdoor Learning Space constructed. We would like to recognize these students for their hard work and dedication to leaving an educational legacy for future Gable students.
