Keeping you connected is an important part of how District Six supports our students and families. This school year we are expanding our communication efforts by offering text messaging to help keep you informed. Next week you will receive a text from the number 67587. You must opt in if you would like to receive text messages from our district. We wanted to share this in advance, so when the message arrives, you’ll know it’s really from us and not spam.
When you receive the message, simply reply Y or Yes to opt in.
This will allow you to receive important district and school information directly on your mobile phone, including:
- School closings and schedule changes
- Safety and emergency notifications
- Important school and district announcements
- Reminders about events and other timely information
Text messaging gives us another quick and convenient way to reach families when important information needs to be shared. Participation is optional, and you may opt out of text messages at any time by replying “stop.” Thank you for helping us strengthen communication between our schools and families.
