This is an honors orchestra composed of students from 7 different counties in the Upstate. This ensemble will meet for one weekend in November and pull together a concert, of challenging music, in just two days. These students will also be eligible to audition for the SC All State Orchestra in January.
Sophie Melchor Contreras will be seated as concert mistress this year. Meaning, she was the #1 violinist across all 7 counties for the 6-8 Grade division.
