Congratulations to the following Gable students who won awards recently at the Piedmont Regional Science Fair Competition:
Ashley Evans won 1st place in Biology and the Office of Naval Research Award for her project titled "Lettuce Grow, Lettuce Grow, Lettuce Grow" - a study of how different types of compost affect the growth of lettuce.
Ian Thomas won the Water Environment Association of South Carolina award for his project titled "How Do Different Soil Types Affect the Ability to Filter Water?"
